Tannenbaum Park At its January 5, 2010 meeting the GREENSBORO City Council approved the sale of Tannenbaum Park and the Colonial Heritage Center to the Guilford Courthouse Military Park for $1.00. Eventually the Military Park plans to combine the visitors’ center at the battlefield with the Colonial Heritage Center at Tannenbaum Park. This action transfers operating expenses of over $200,000 per year from the City budget to the budget for the Military Park. |
