Scholarships

The Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation is pleased to provide three scholarship programs. Beginning in 1970 the Foundation has made grants in excess of three million dollars to specific colleges and universities to fund Sigmund Sternberger scholarships for Guilford County students. For the 2021-2022 academic year, these scholarships assisted 42 Guilford County students from 19 different high schools. In 1971, the Foundation established the Revolution Lodge Scholarship program. In addition, the Foundation has endowed scholarships at several colleges and universities.

It is the hope of Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation directors that later in life recipients of scholarship and other assistance available to them because of Sigmund Sternberger’s generosity will be able and have a desire to continue this tradition of service by contributing money to their college or university and community programs serving people in need.
